Clubs & Organizations
A big part of an enjoyable, well-rounded college experience happens outside the classroom. Clubs & Organizations provide the opportunity to explore new interests and discover more about yourself. With more than 75+ clubs and 7 organizations to choose from, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make new friends, discover new hobbies, and develop your leadership, organizational, and creative skills.
We believe you have the ability to connect with great student leaders and make your time here at RWU a memorable one. Becoming involved in clubs is a great way to meet like-minded students with similar interests. By joining one of our organizations, students are able to make a difference campus wide.
- Connect with students and help make a difference on campus in the community by joining the Multicultural Student Union or the Sexuality and Gender Alliance.
- Report on everything RWU by writing for the Hawks Herald, our campus newspaper.
- Become a member of the student radio station, WQRI 88.3fm, and have your own radio show.
- Represent the RWU student body and help create change on the Student Senate.
- Be a representative for your class and plan exciting class specific events as a member of the Inter-Class Council.
- Plan large scale events such as concerts, carnivals, and many other exciting events with the Campus Entertainment Network.
- Build your skillsets and give back through pre-professional societies, non-profit organizations, and talent and skill groups.
- Have fun, stay active, and make friends with our athletic opportunities.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for all students to enrich their academic experiences. We want each person to find ways to grow and develop over their time at RWU, to enhance their collegiate experience, and to leave a positive impact on campus.
The Campus Entertainment Network (CEN) is a volunteer, student-run organization responsible for creating, planning, and programming entertainment events on campus. CEN members are dedicated students who are interested in hosting quality entertainment for the entire campus community.
The Campus Entertainment Network (CEN) is a volunteer, student-run organization responsible for creating, planning, and programming entertainment events on campus. CEN members are dedicated students who are interested in hosting quality entertainment for the entire campus community.
The Campus Entertainment Network is comprised of four committees:
- Arts & Culture
- Outreach
- Traditions
- Where's The Fun? (WTF?)
Alongside these committees is an executive board. The executive board consists of:
- The Chair(s)
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Public Relations Chair
- Design Chair.
Students can get involved in CEN at any time. CEN is always looking for students with new and innovative ideas for programming and advertising. By getting involved, students will have a definite impact on decisions made, including the type of entertainment brought to RWU. CEN also relies on its members to provide feedback on events to continue to improve programming, so even if you don't want to be on the board, you can meet with the committees to give ideas and get involved!

The Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) is dedicated to promoting an inclusive community for LGBTQ+ identifying students and allies. SAGA works to cultivate a queer-positive and welcoming space for anyone who wants to feel safe and accepted for their identities. We provide opportunities for members of the RWU community to learn more about the LGBTQ+ community through education and programming.
Over the course of the year, SAGA works to host and co-host programming with areas around campus that highlight LGBTQ+ histories and celebrations. Coming Out Week, Transgender Week of Remembrance, Bingo for a Cure, and Pride Week are just a few examples of the great programming planned each year.
General Member Meetings
Each week, SAGA gets together to chat about current events, on-campus programming, and to meet one another. For SAGA meeting day, time, and location, please visit our page on Hawk Link.
