Welcome new RWU students! Roger Williams University partners with Vector Solutions whose mission is to help college students address critical life skills such as alcohol misuse prevention, sexual assault prevention, and building relationships with people different from themselves. As part of our New Student Orientation, Roger Williams University expects you to complete 4 online courses:
- Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging,
- AlcoholEdu (alcohol education),
- Sexual Assault Prevention, and
- Mental Well-being.
These 4 courses can assist you in establishing healthy, positive relationships and making well-informed decisions about issues that affect your college years and beyond.
Information on the Vector Solutions program will be sent to students via email and discussed at the June Orientation program. The online courses will not begin until the end of July for new students starting RWU for the Fall 2024 semester.
Part 1 Courses - Due by Tuesday, August 20th
As part of our comprehensive prevention program for new students, you will need to complete the following four (4) courses:

- AlcoholEdu
- Sexual Assault Prevention
- Mental Wellbeing
The courses will be available for you to complete on or around the last week of July. You will receive an email directly to your RWU email account when the courses are ready for you to complete. Included in that email will be a unique link for you to access your Vector portal. All four courses must be completed prior to August 20th. Not completing these 4 separate courses will delay your check-in process and start of your semester.
Part 2 Surveys - Due by October 11th
Around 30-45 days upon completing each course in Part 1, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to take Part 2 (brief follow up surveys) which are due by October 11, 2024.
